How Much Does Facial Liposuction Cost in Des Moines?
At our Des Moines practice, the price of facial liposuction varies depending on each patient’s specific needs. Cosmetic consultations with Dr. Koch are $150. This payment is applied to the surgeon’s fee should you decide to book your procedure within a year of your consultation.
Liposuction Procedure
Liposuction is performed through a small incision just below the chin. Excess fat is removed from the neck and jowls through a tiny suction tube called a cannula. The procedure typically utilizes general anesthesia, and typically takes 1 to 2 hours.
Recovery
After your facial liposuction procedure, you may experience bruising and swelling for the first few days after surgery. A pressure dressing will be applied to your face immediately after the procedure, and will remain in place for at least 4 days after your surgery. You will then need to return to the office to have your stitches and bandages removed. In general, our liposuction patients report that they enjoy a quick recovery and can return to work in about a week to 10 days.
The nominal consultation fee covers an extensive, personal consultation with Dr. Koch. He will spend a great deal of time with you, discussing your goals, concerns, and physical and lifestyle considerations. He will listen intently to what you have to say, and together the two of you will develop the best approach to your treatment. Women and men who schedule their surgery at the time of consultation will have their consultation fee applied toward their procedure.
