About Chin Augmentation
Chin augmentation is one of the most satisfying procedures performed in facial plastic surgery. Chin Augmentation Procedure
Chin implant surgery is a straightforward and proven procedure that Dr. Koch performs on its own or in combination with other facial procedures. During chin augmentation, a carefully sized, medical-grade implant is placed behind the chin muscles through a small incision under the chin. This moves the muscle and overlying skin of the chin forward.
Chin implant surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia in an accredited outpatient surgery center, and takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours to complete.

Recovery
After your chin implant surgery, Dr. Koch will place a bandage over the incision site, which will remain in place for a few days. Our chin augmentation patients can return home the day of their procedure, but must wait a few days to a week to resume everyday activities.
The nominal consultation fee covers an extensive, personal consultation with Dr. Koch. He will spend a great deal of time with you, discussing your goals, concerns, and physical and lifestyle considerations. He will listen intently to what you have to say, and together the two of you will develop the best approach to your treatment. Women and men who schedule their surgery at the time of consultation will have their consultation fee applied toward their procedure.
